Claims (Elements #2)

Claim me back.
Call me back to the soil, the land and earth.
Call me back to the dust, the winds and air.
Call me back to the heat, the fury and fire.
Call me back to the deep, to the wetness and water.
Claim me again, for it is time I return, long it has been so, and long it will be,
Always too little, but never too late.
The fire, the passion, the blood and the lust is all too much
And yet too little.
Claim me back so I know, so I know what’s real,
What’s dead and what’s perceived;
The implicit and the exclusive.
Take me back to the parts; not the whole, never the whole.
Call me home before I sin, before I sully.
Claim me back.
